Many fellowship opportunities are available for you at Living Faith. Meaningful programs and projects which promote member interaction, friendships and goodwill include:
Neighborhood Outreach - Several events are held each year at both campuses for our surrounding neighborhood families and children. They include an Easter Egg Hunt, “National Night Out” in August, and a Halloween party with “Trunk or Treat”. Members volunteer their time to help put on these events. What fun for members and neighbors alike!
Men’s Breakfast - This informal bible and book study meets for breakfast (7:30 am) at Annetta’s Café (8020 Durand Avenue, Sturtevant) on the first and third Thursdays of every month. All men are welcome to join for good food, fellowship and discussion!
Ladies Night Out - Meets on the second Tuesdays of each month at 6:00 pm.. Activities include dinner at area restaurants for dinner, movie nights, game nights – you name it! This event is open to all interested ladies and provides a good opportunity for fun and fellowship.
Let’s Get Moving! - Gentle chair exercises, suitable for all ages and abilities, are led by a qualified instructor, Wednesday mornings at 11 am (Fall, Winter & Spring). The class meets in Fellowship Hall at the East Campus. The cost is $10 per 6-week session.
Christmas Cookie Walk - Held annually at the East Campus on the second Saturday morning in December. Members bake homemade delicacies, which are beautifully displayed and sold by the pound to the public. It’s a great way to work together, and a delicious way to start off the holiday season!’
Annual Theatre and Pizza Party - Members take in a wonderful Saturday matinee performance at the Racine Theatre Guild. Following the play, there is a Pizza & Salad Buffet at Mike & Angelo’s. Mark your calendar for May 18, 2019 when we’ll see “9 to 5: The Musical.”
Special Events - Many events are held each year. Some past events include: a beautiful ‘Christmas at the Mansion’ luncheon, “Back to the 50’s” party, and a delicious Thanksgiving dinner in November. The Friends in Fellowship Committee are hard at work planning future socials.
Sales & Fundraisers - Bi-annual Rummage Sales and Bake Sales on Election Days offer opportunities to work together for the good of the church.
