The FaithWorks Food Pantry was born from a Bible study discussion. The group was talking about Jesus feeding the 5,000 and the conversation included talk of a food pantry in Milwaukee where they let people shop and choose the foods they want. After much prayerful discussion, it was decided to open a pantry in our building. We would offer hospitality and treat people who attend as guests.
The FaithWorks Food Pantry is open Tuesdays 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and Thursdays 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. (Note: Thursday hours have changed!)
What you need to bring with you:
Many food pantries chose to follow the state guidelines. The FaithWorks Food Pantry has chosen to follow the Federal guidelines. What’s the difference?
We can always use volunteers, just talk to Margaret or June. They will share the various ways you can help!
